Sterling Silver Lidded Cut Glass Hair Receiver

Condition:  Very good pre-owned antique condition. Some patina commensurate with age and use and a few small dings on the lid edge. Cut glass is in mint condition.

Details:  Round, straight-sided glass jar cut in a canework design with eight-pointed starburst on bottom.  Fitted sterling silver lid with brightwork engraved scrolls and an empty panel for a monogram.  Rounded center hole to receive hair, rolled bottom lip.  Hallmarked inside, marks not discernible, possible leopard's head signifying London origin.
